Palm Coast, Florida, September 10, 2023 – “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change” is recognized as the second longest-running off-Broadway musical.  With fans literally all over the world, the play is the first offering in the new season by the City Repertory Theatre (CRT).  The play runs three consecutive weekends starting September 15 and closing on Sunday, October 1.  Friday and Saturday performances are at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday matinees are at 3:00 p.m.   Tickets can be purchased by calling 386-585-9415 or by visiting www.crtpalmcoast.com. With book and lyrics by Joe DiPietro and music by Jimmy Roberts, the show was nominated for the Outer Critics Circle Award in 1977.  Says CRT co-founder Diane Ellertsen, “This hilarious revue pays tribute to those who have loved and lost, and those who have dared to ask, ‘Say, what are you doing Saturday night?’”

Relationships in all its forms of modern love is presented in a series of vignettes looking at the perils and pratfalls of the first date to marriage, children, and the twilight years of life.  Six players comprise the ensemble for this production, including Theatre favorites Laniece Fagundes and Beau Wade.
