PALM COAST, Fla. – (September 8, 2023) — The Bold Ladies in Business are pleased to announce the first annual Pilates in the Park, A Wellness & Awareness Festival to benefit AdventHealth Palm Coast Foundation.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and as one of more than a dozen events slated to raise funds and awareness throughout the month, the Pilates in the Park, A Wellness & Awareness Festival will feature health and wellness experts leading demonstrations in the park in addition to 70 vendors and exhibitors comprised of retail and professional services.
Scheduled for October 17, 2023, in Palm Coast’s Central Park, the festival will coincide with the Palm Coast Food Truck Tuesday event, where the Bold Ladies in Business will be the featured nonprofit organization for the evening.
“As a 10-year cancer free survivor of Stage 2 Breast Cancer, I understand the importance of access to diagnostic and preventative care,” said festival organizer Alina Perry-Smith. “Bold Ladies in Business is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering women in business by providing opportunities for genuine connections that go beyond handing out business cards, giving women the platform to educate others about various professional and personal topics, and supporting the community with volunteerism and charity.”
Proceeds from the Pilates in the Park festival and the charitable donation from the Food Truck Tuesday event will be given to AdventHealth Palm Coast Foundation to support screenings, diagnostic treatments and associated cancer needs.
“It’s amazing to see and be a part of something bigger than yourself. Come support local businesswomen at our Pilates in the Park, A Wellness & Awareness Festival. Exercise, shop, eat, and be a part of helping not only the local businesswomen in the community but help others get preventative diagnostic treatments,” she said.
