Palm Coast – The Stormwater & Engineering Department would like to inform residents of a reported road closure for structural road repair located on the cross streets of Lewis Drive in Palm Coast.
This notice is issued in response to a significant road damage incident caused by a garbage truck on Lewis Drive between Lewiston Place and Lewis Shire Way. Due to safety concerns, we are implementing an immediate road closure surrounding the incident location.
This closure will remain in effect until repairs are completed, and a further update will be provided once our Engineering team is able to confirm dates and times for scheduling necessary repairs.
During the road closure notice, traffic will be redirected to Lewis Drive for access to the main road of London Drive. Residents traveling on Lewis Drive will be detoured to Lewisdale Lane for access to Lewis Drive. Proper MOT and detour signs have been put in place.
