Palm Coast, FL, June 8, 2023 – In celebration of the Juneteenth Holiday, On Saturday, June 17, The African American Cultural Society Florida will host its annual Juneteenth Freedom Day celebration. Themed “Forward Ever, Backward Never,” the family-friendly affair commemorating the end of slavery in the United States, kicks-off 12 noon, on the grounds of the African American Cultural Center & Museum of Florida, 4422 N US 1 Highway, Palm Coast, FL.

 

Supported by the City of Palm Coast, Florida Division of Arts and Culture, and VisitFlagler.com, Juneteenth Freedom Day will feature a silent auction, live music and entertainment from a variety of local artists and plenty of fun activities, games, and prizes for the entire family. In addition to a variety of arts and crafts from local artisans, the cultural affair will include a festive feast of food, including mouthwatering barbeque and various scrumptious treats, from a variety of participating local black-owned businesses.

 

For over 30 years the African American Cultural Society’s Juneteenth Freedom Festival has highlighted the outstanding contributions and historic legacy of the African American community during this festive one-day celebration.
