Palm Coast – The City of Palm Coast’s popular annual Holiday Light Fight once-again saw residents breaking out their garland, wreaths and a seemingly endless supply of lights to decorate their homes for the holidays and submitting photos of their displays with hopes of reigning supreme in one of several categories, which include brightest house, best theme, most interesting, best community display, and best in show.

With all submissions now on display on the Holiday Light Fight event page, it is now up to votes from the public to determine the winners. All residents are invited to take part in voting by visiting the official Facebook event page here. Photos from all registered participants can also be viewed geographically via an interactive map here.

“It’s always exciting the see the community getting into the spirit of the holidays with their Holiday Light Fight decorations,” said City of Palm Coast Parks and Recreation Director James Hirst. “We’re always seeing participants using new and innovative ways to make their home stand out and it really seems to grow bigger and better each year.”

Voting for the Holiday Light Fight is taking place now through Friday, December 16 at 5pm, with all winners to be announced on Saturday, December 17, when ceremonial yard signs will be delivered to the homes of winners in all respective categories to display alongside their award-winning décor.
