Florida Ag Museum needs volunteers to assist at the Lost Arts Festial on Sunday, September 24th. Volunteers will help guests with directions and basic event information. Must have good people skills! This is an educational event and your assistance will help us adhere to our mission statement, provide additional funding for the Ag Museum and allow us to do a food drive for residents in need. REMEMBERING HEROES FALL FESTIVAL
Saturday, September 30th 7:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. or 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Remembering Heroes is asking volunteers to help with their Fall Festival event at Town Center in Palm Coast on Saturday, 9/30/23. Volunteers are needed to help with set up of tents, vendor and activity areas from 7:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. and with breakdown from 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Volunteers will be able to stay during the event and will have food provided. This event will honor Veterans, 1st Responders, Gold Star and Military Survivor Families and Community Heroes. There will be food, music, vendors and family fun. FUN COAST 18TH ANNUAL BUDDY WALK
Saturday, October 7th from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Fun Coast Down Syndrome Association needs volunteers to help with this event. There will be approximately 15 Tents/stations with games. Volunteers are needed to welcome visitors in the tent and assist with playing simple games. About 20 volunteers are needed. They will also help with set up and take down. Time: 9am to 4pm Age 16 years old and over. Community Service Hours for school is available. There will be some lifting and walking. Looking for very friendly and kind to work with special needs advocates. Interaction skills is a plus. Rummage Sale to Benefit the Giving Store
Week of October 7, 2023 – October 14, 2023
Flagler Volunteer Services needs volunteers to help with our rummage sale by assisting with the following: Move items (load and unload U-Haul truck) from our storage unit in Palm Coast to Cattleman’s Hall on Saturday, October 7, 2023. Organize, set up and price items from Monday, October 9 – Thursday, October 12. Assist with the sale on Friday October 13, 2023 and Saturday, October 14, 2023. Move left over items and sale supplies (load and unload U-Haul truck) from Cattleman’s Hall to our storage unit in Palm Coast on Saturday, October 14, 2023.
All proceeds from the Rummage Sale benefit our Giving Store Program.

COMMUNITY RESOURCES SHOWCASE

Flagler Schools needs volunteers to assist at Buddy Taylor Middle School (in the cafeteria). Volunteers will help direct organizations an attendees to this event, which will showcase service organizations that can help students and their families in Flagler County. Flagler County Human Services are asking volunteers to help with the Flagler Fall Outreach event at Flagler County Fairgrounds in Cattleman’s Hall from 10:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Friday, 10/20/23. ISLAND FESTIVAL
Saturday, October 21, 2023 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Island Festival volunteers are needed to assist at Town Center in Palm Coast. Shifts are from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., 2 p.m. – 6 p.m., and 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Volunteers are needed for the following:
Entry booth, T-Shirt booth, Kids Zone, Snack Area, VIP Entry
People skills are a must. You need basic math and basic technology skills and must be able to stand for 20 minutes. Your help with help us keep the festival safe and organized. You can sign up to assist at: https://forms.gle/
