PALM COAST, Fla. – Hoping that those out to enjoy The Living Nativity connect with the true meaning behind the holiday season, more than 200 volunteers from Parkview Church in Palm Coast hosted the immersive experience December 11-14th.

Stepping onto the Parkview campus and through the lobby, the experience was like a trip to another land, back in time. Full scenes along the route told the story of Biblical times as visitors watched the reenactments portrayed by dedicated members of the Parkview family.

Many parishioners were returning participants, trying out new characters in the story year after year, while others like Bill McGraw were new to the area. He and his wife were excited for the opportunity to join the cast at their new home church.

For all of the hard work and months of preparation led by nativity director Cassandra Hartman, the joy comes from sharing the story of the birth of Jesus Christ according to Pastor Trey Warren.

“This is one of the biggest outreach events of the year,” he said anticipating welcoming several thousand visitors over the 4-day, family-friendly event.

“It’s an opportunity for us to share the greatest story on planet Earth with the community and invite people out to come have fun with their family.”

Parkview Church is located at 5435 Belle Terre Parkway Palm Coast, Florida. Information on their Christmas Eve services may be found here.
