FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – Driving by the Fitzgerald Performing Arts Center on State Road 100 it’s easy to surmise the county’s premier performing arts center is closed for the season, but that’s not so according to facility director Amelia Fulmer.
Housed on the campus of Flagler Palm Coast High School, the venue’s parking lot is getting a much-needed makeover.
From potholes to flooding issues, the parking lot’s problems have been no secret for patrons of the arts and in a few short months not only will there be better access to the venue but there will be more parking on site as well.
Until then, patrons are asked to be patient as the final pro shows of the season take place and the end of year student performances hit the stage. The Fitzgerald Performing Arts Center is working to have additional assistance on site for patrons who need help navigating the makeover for the Doo Wop Project set for Saturday, March 22nd.
