ORMOND BEACH, FL – Ocean Art Gallery will bring Miami artist Max Lazega for a two-day personal event at the gallery on Friday and Saturday, March 3rd & 4th at the gallery, 197 E Granada Blvd. He will meet with gallery clients on Friday afternoon in a private session, followed by a talk about his art during the Ormond Beach Art Walk on Saturday from 3 to 7pm.
From his 40 years in the construction industry, Max Lazega creates whimsical and free flowing interpretive art from recycled materials and discarded building supplies. This is known as Upcycled Metal Art where unused or unneeded parts are made into something of value. His unique work displays his view of the future with bold and playful combinations of materials and processes that result in colorful coastal Florida artwork perfect for home and business.
Born in Marseilles, France, Lazega has lived in Miami, Florida most of his life where he now pursues his lifelong passion of creating industrial art. Known for his award-winning upcycled metal art, where worthless parts are repurposed into something of value, he continues to thrill art exhibit and gallery audiences with his brilliant colors, unique combinations of materials, and humorous looks at life.
