BUNNELL – The Keep Rick Staly Our Sheriff Campaign announces two key law enforcement organizations have endorsed Sheriff Rick Staly for re-election. The International Brotherhood of Police Officers (IBPO) and Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #171 (FOP 171) have endorsed Sheriff Staly for the 2024 Election.
The International Brotherhood of Police Officers, which represents all Flagler County Sheriff’s Office law enforcement deputies, including sergeants and corporals, voted overwhelmingly to endorse Rick Staly in his 2024 re-election bid as Flagler County Sheriff.
“The Executive Board of Local 598 believes that you will continue to work diligently to secure and improve the quality of life for working families with the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office while helping maintain a quality of life for all Flagler County residents and visitors,” said Seth Green, IBPO Local 598 President.
The local Palm Coast Fraternal Order of Police Lodge, Patrolman Phillip Cardillo Memorial Lodge #171, which counts as its members retired and former law enforcement officers, correction officers and other public safety professionals also endorsed Rick Staly in his re-election as Flagler County Sheriff.
“Your record of leadership and accomplishment is noted. We are a Law Enforcement Community institution and we wish to recognize our appreciation to you, Brother Staly, for your many contributions to our community in your role as Sheriff. You are a credit to all Law Enforcement,” said David Mazzone, President, Florida FOP Lodge # 171.
“I am very honored to be endorsed by the law enforcement men and women that serve our community daily and know my leadership the best,” said Sheriff Staly. “It is also humbling to be endorsed by a group of retired and former public servants that know first-hand what it takes to serve the community.”
