Bunnell, FL – The Florida Department of Health in Flagler County (DOH-Flagler) has modified the location for its COVID-19 testing schedule for October 4 through 8. Due to an event at the Flagler County Fairgrounds, the health department is moving its testing operation to the field across from 120 Airport Road on the way to High Jackers Restaurant. This will be a drive-through operation for one week only, subject to change. Testing at the Flagler County Fairgrounds should resume Monday, October 11.

Please consider the following when testing with DOH-Flagler.
- Testing should take place at least 3 to 5 days after exposure. Testing sooner than this may result in false negatives.
- If your child tests positive for COVID-19 and has symptoms,
o they shall not attend school, school-sponsored activities, or be on school property until they receive a negative diagnostic test and do not have symptoms. OR
o ten days have passed since the onset of the symptoms or positive test result, AND the child has had no fever for 24 hours and other symptoms are improving. OR
o written permission to return to school or work is issued by a licensed medical doctor, osteopathic physician, or an advanced registered nurse practitioner.
- DOH staff continues to conduct contact tracing and case investigation. We appreciate your ongoing patience.
- If your child is identified as a close contact to someone who tests positive,

- You may allow your child to attend school, school-sponsored activities, or be on school property without restrictions or disparate treatment, as long as the child shows no symptoms of COVID-19.
- You may also choose to quarantine your child up to seven days from the date of last direct contact with the person that tested positive for COVID-19.
o If your child begins to show symptoms of COVID-19, they should follow the guidelines as laid out for a positive case of COVID.
Vaccinations continue to be offered at 301 Dr. Carter Blvd on Mondays from 3:30 to 6:00PM. Effective Monday, October 4, this will include third doses (boosters) of Pfizer vaccine. Appointments are preferred by calling 386-437-7350 ext. 0. We will advise the public when/if we receive authorization to provide Moderna or J&J boosters. Local pharmacies like ONE Pharmacy, Grace Community Pharmacy, CVS, Walgreens, Publix and Walmart may carry these brands and offer boosters to immunocompromised individuals.
Monoclonal Antibody Treatments are now available in Flagler County at Daytona State College’s Palm Coast Campus. Monoclonal Antibody Treatments (MAB) for COVID-19 can prevent severe illness, hospitalization and death among high-risk individuals. Individuals 12 years and older who are high-risk, that have contracted or been exposed to COVID-19, are eligible for this treatment. Treatment is free.
