The Flagler Film Festival is back, set for January 20-23, 2023 at the Hilton Garden Inn, Palm Coast, and organizers are giving those last minute filmmakers and artists an early Thanksgiving gift with a deadline extension.
“We have had the honor and pleasure to screen amazing films from Florida and around the world in our past festivals. We appreciate the work that all indie filmmakers put into their creations. It is a team effort and we know there are many ups and downs. We encourage all filmmakers to get their work seen and we are so happy to see their talent shine on our screen! Three days remain to submit to the 2023 Flagler Film Festival! Extended final deadline is midnight, Nov. 20th! Don’t miss out! filmfreeway.com/flaglerfilmfestival Student discount available,” said organizer and co-founder Kathie Barry.
The Flagler Film Festival has drawn entries from around the world during the five years of screenings and shown films with big names like David Dastmalchain (The Dark Knight, Dune), and Lance Reddick (John Wick), along with an array of talented, award-winning directors and producers, alongside local filmmakers and actors.
“Because we are a small festival and our entry fees are not cost-prohibitive, we believe that filmmakers at all levels can submit their work to us and have an opportunity to have a screening with a live audience,” shared Barry. “One of our goals is to find films that may not have had any budget, or are very low budget, yet are still well made and will be enjoyable and interesting to our audience.”
Official selections will be notified on December 1, 2022. For more information, visit www.flaglerfilmfestival.com.
