FLAGLER BEACH, Fla. (July 4, 2024) – Up with the sunrise, parade goers in Flagler Beach headed out bright and early to nab a parking spot along the parade route on A1A, Thursday morning. Starting the annual Stars & Stripes Parade at 9 am gave early birds a chance to enjoy the morning view and a cup of coffee before enthusiastic parade floats began the trek down the coastal corridor.
Hundreds of spectators lined the boulevard to cheer on their favorite floats and show their patriotic spirit in honor of July 4th Independence Day. Planes engaged in a flyover during the parade, dazzling onlookers.
Hosted by the Rotary Club of Flagler Beach, the annual Stars & Stripes Parade is a holiday favorite, with clubs and organizations decking out floats to take home top honors, and emceed by Rotary Club members Cindy Dalecki and Bob Snyder.
