The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) 2.5-month investigation leads to the arrest warrants of 18 drug dealers, seizing enough poison to kill more than 98,000 people. After an arrest sweep this morning, FCSO’s Operation “Meth Side Story” resulted in 13 arrests. FCSO is still searching for the remaining 5 drugs dealers wanted in this operation. This operation focused on drug dealers in Bunnell and the Mondex area of Flagler County.

FCSO’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU) and the FCSO P.A.C.E. Unit served the felony arrest warrants this morning. Some suspects of “Operation Meth Side Story” had previously been arrested during the undercover operation when search warrants were served at their poison-peddling locations. Others were already in the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility.

As of today’s arrests, more than $31,000 cash was seized and enough narcotics in the operation to kill the entire population of Palm Coast. Among the controlled substances seized in the operation are Fentanyl, Heroin, Cocaine, THC Oil, Methamphetamine, and Cannabis.

“These drug dealers are now finding out what happens to poison peddlers in Flagler County,” Sheriff Rick Staly said. “These 18 poison peddlers have faced more than 159 felony charges combined over the course of their criminal life. These poison peddlers have been convicted 51 times. If you are a drug dealer in Flagler County and we didn’t get you this time you, better watch over your shoulder as we are coming for you next.”

Suspects in the operation range in ages from 21 to 66 years of age. One of those facing charges, Twain Slater, is a well-known career felon in Flagler County. With a local criminal history dating back to 2010. He’s been charged with 20 felonies and 19 misdemeanors in Flagler County alone, mainly for narcoticrelated arrests.

As a result of the Operation Meth Side Story, the following drug dealers were arrested:

1.) Raymond Dukes, Trafficking Fentanyl and Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Sell.
2.) Michael Bennett, Trafficking Morphine and Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Sell.
3.) Haley Scott, Possession of Methamphetamine.
4.) Jayveon Williams, Sale of Synthetic Cathinones, 5.) James Donaldson, Possession of Methamphetamine.
6.) Tiandra Bennett, Trafficking Cocaine.
7.) Cheyenne Donaldson, Possession of Fentanyl and Possession of Methamphetamine.
8.) Justin Anthony, Sale of Methamphetamine.
9.) Kayleigh Ferguson, Sale of Methamphetamine.
10.) Gary Visciglia, Sale of Methamphetamine.
11.) Duane Heinonen, Sale of Methamphetamine.
12.) Todd Blanchard, Sale of Methamphetamine.
13.) Jason Kjersgaard, Sale of Heroin and Sale of Synthetic Cathinones.
The following drug dealers are wanted and currently being sought:

1.) Twain Slater, Trafficking Fentanyl and Unlawful Use of a Two-Way Communication Device.
2.) John Nicolicchia Jr., Sale of Methamphetamine.
3.) John Driggers, Sale of Methamphetamine
4.) Adam Giddens, Sale of Fentanyl.
5.) Christopher Smith, Sale of Cocaine and Unlawful Use of a Two-Way Communication Device.
“As a result of the hard work of our Special Investigations Unit, this operation led to getting these drug dealers arrested for poison peddling in our community and seizing deadly drugs. Hopefully, Operation Meth Side Story will save some lives,” Sheriff Staly said. “If we are still looking for you, I suggest you turn yourself in as it’s only a matter of time before we find you and take you to the Green Roof Inn.”

Each defendant arrested was booked into the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility where they will remain until they post bond or appear before a judge.
