Palm Coast, FL (January 18, 2022) Dr. Jennifer Garrett is originally from Oklahoma where she developed her passion for animals and science. She graduated with her B.S. in Biology at Oklahoma State University and then her M.S. in Biology at West Chester University with a focus on aquatic mammals shortly after. Wanting to have a more direct way of helping animals and people while still being a scientist, she pursued her veterinary degree from The Ohio State University and graduated in 2017. She moved to Palm Coast, Florida for warmer weather and an ocean view shortly after graduating and has been practicing small animal medicine ever since.
While she enjoys all aspects of being a veterinarian, she is most passionate about animal behavior and feline medicine.
Outside of spending time with her husband, Terry, and her two stepsons, Adyn and Bradyn, her hobbies include anything outdoors, running, and traveling. Dr. Garrett currently has 2 cats, Rick and Walter, and 2 dogs, Rocky and Marley. She has dedicated her career to caring for her patients as if they were her own pets and looks forward to meeting yours!
