Palm Coast – The City of Palm Coast has launched a new educational webpage to provide residents with information about the proposed Master Planned Development (MPD) application for the Future Planning Area west of U.S. 1 ahead of upcoming public meetings.

The webpage serves as a centralized resource where residents can learn about the proposal currently under review, review maps and planning documents, explore frequently asked questions, and better understand the public review process.

The City developed the webpage to help residents access factual information in one location and prepare for upcoming opportunities to participate in the public hearing process.

“Community participation is an important part of the development review process,” said Community Development Director John Zobler. “We encourage residents to review the available information, attend the public meetings, and share their comments as the proposal moves through the City’s public review process.”

The webpage includes:

  • An overview of the proposed planning area and Master Planned Development application

  • Information about the proposed land uses and transportation improvements

  • An explanation of the development review and approval process

  • Frequently asked questions

  • Maps and supporting documents

  • Links to public meeting agendas and livestreams

The first public meeting on the proposed MPD will be held during the Planning and Land Development Regulation Board (PLDRB) meeting on Tuesday, July 15, at 5:30 p.m. in the Jon Netts Community Wing at City Hall. The meeting will also be livestreamed on the City’s YouTube channel. Additional public hearings before the Palm Coast City Council are anticipated later this summer.

Residents are encouraged to review the information before attending the meeting and to participate in the public engagement process by providing comments during the scheduled public hearings.
