BUNNELL, FL – On Monday morning, May 20, Detective Ocampo obtained an arrest warrant for Rodrick Leon Williams Jr., 22, of Bunnell for Fentanyl Trafficking. Williams was taken into custody at the Flagler County Probation and Parole office by the Special Investigation Unit (SIU). At the time of his arrest, he was on probation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Williams had previously been arrested during Operation Heartbreaker for the sale of Cocaine within 1000 feet of a public park and the unlawful use of a two-way device. This time he was arrested for selling 6.7 grams of Fentanyl. Two milligrams is enough to cause death.
“Here’s another example of a drug dealer whose next stop should be state prison. He was already on probation and went right back to peddling his poison,” said Sheriff Rick Staly. “Thanks to our SIU team, he was taken to the Green Roof Inn and off the streets of our community before he could sell a fatal dose of poison.
Williams’s criminal history includes arrests for: Carrying a Concealed Firearm; Battery on a Detained Person; Violation of Probation/Violation of Community Control; Possession of Cannabinoids, Hashish, Marijuana; and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Williams is being held at the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility on a $50,000 bond.
