Palm Coast, FL- Marking one week since the grand opening of the Southern Recreation Center! The facility is open free of charge to residents and visitors who are invited to enjoy outdoor patios, free Wi-Fi, and a full-service restaurant. With plans for future programming offered in our two multipurpose rooms, the facility is poised to become a focal point of activity and connection for individuals and families alike in the coming months.

For those passionate about Pickleball, the Southern Recreation Center also offers affordable pass options, including day passes, monthly limited passes, monthly passes, and annual passes – mirroring the successful model of our Palm Coast Tennis Center. These passes grant access to our Pickleball facilities, ensuring enthusiasts can enjoy their favorite sport to the fullest.

Holland Park remains an excellent alternative for residents who prefer to play Pickleball without purchasing a pass. Residents wishing to play Pickleball at Holland Park can check-out a Pickleball net free of charge at the Palm Coast Community Center with only a driver’s license and credit card on file.

It is important to note that while entry to the Southern Recreation Center is free, charging a fee for Pickleball usage is essential to maintain the facility and uphold its quality standards for years to come.

The City of Palm Coast is committed to providing diverse recreational opportunities that cater to the interests and needs of our residents. With the opening of the Southern Recreation Center, we look forward to fostering a vibrant and active community where every individual can thrive.

The recreation center is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Operating hours are subject to change as utilization of the facility is realized.
