BUNNELL, FL – On Tuesday, the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) recovered drugs from a B-section neighborhood, which tested positive for Fentanyl and Methamphetamine.
Concerned neighbors notified the Sheriff’s Office of a suspicious person at a construction site on their street. An unidentified male was seen ducking into a porta potty, standing on the toilet, and looking through vents. The witnesses also claim the individual made a throwing motion in the direction of a nearby culvert drainpipe.
Upon arrival, deputies believed the suspicious person had thrown various baggies of narcotics into the culvert drainpipe. The narcotics were recovered from the drainpipe by deputies and placed into evidence. The narcotics tested presumptive positive for meth/ecstasy and for the presence of fentanyl.
“Thank you to the resident who followed “See Something, Say Something” to let us know of the suspicious activity they saw,” said Sheriff Rick Staly. “Their actions allowed us to get dangerous narcotics out of the community where a child or adult could have found them.”
This incident is ongoing and the investigation into drug trafficking is ongoing.
