Palm Coast – Palm Coast residents will soon notice a cleaner, more user-friendly design for their utility bills. The new design is intended to make it much easier for residents to read and understand their bills.

The new bill layout will display each resident’s meter number and compare last month’s usage to current water usage. This will make it easier for residents to identify any noticeable changes in water usage that may indicate a leak or another problem.

In addition, residents will notice that their account number, parcel, bill number, and bill date are now in the middle of the bill rather than in the top right corner. This change was made to create a more logical and streamlined layout for the bill.

“We hope that this new bill design benefits our residents,” said Stephen Flanagan, Director of the Utility Department. “With our residents in mind, we believe the new bill design is easier to understand and enables them to better manage their water consumption.”

These enhancements to the utility bill were made possible due to recent updates in the current software utilized to produce the bill. For more information on your utility bill, visit www.palmcoast.gov/customer-service.
