Leaders Grow Leaders

I once knew a supervisor who allowed long lines and poor customer service.  I suggested he train the other employee in his office to help handle some of the responsibilities.  His response?  “He might end up taking my job.”

Real leaders can’t wait to give away what we know.  We love to see others win. We grow new leaders – we don’t fear them.  We know it’s critical to success today and tomorrow to teach, mentor, and equip others.

Too many organizations lack a leadership development program.  Even worse, they are not making any effort to have one.  In an era of constant retirements, new hiring, and regular promotions, it’s malpractice.

There really are no real reasons or excuses today to not do it.  We know what works.  It’s one of the single best predictors of organizational performance.  It aids in productivity, performance, morale, recruitment, and retention.

Leaders grow leaders.  Get your leadership development program started now.
