In a social media post Monday morning, Flagler Beach attorney put the teasers to rest with confirmation of his future plans.

“I just completed and turned in my paperwork at City Hall, concerning my intention to run for a position as Flagler Beach City Commissioner. The election is March 7, 2023. I will be out and about offering petitions for you to sign in support of my candidacy–or you can swing by my office! What you should know about me is that I am a dedicated and involved Flagler Beach resident and business owner; that some of the priorities of mine, if elected, would be to ensure all residents and business owners are heard; that there is increased accountability between the residents and the Commission, and between the Commission and City management; and that an accurate, accessible and up to date automated system is in place for residents and business owners to monitor the status of City projects, 24/7. We are coming up on the most critical 5 year period in the City’s history, with Pier demolition and replacement; dune restoration; A1A bolstering; and new hotel construction all occurring at the same time. And I want to be your voice as these important projects unfold and impact us. I have much more to share with you about my plans and ideas, but this is a start! Thank you all for your support. Scott”

With a keen eye, a big heart for helping others and a passion for doing what’s right, we wish him well.
