Flagler County is now included in the Disaster Declaration for Small Business Administration (SBA) Disaster Loan Assistance Federal Disaster Loans for Businesses, Private Nonprofits, Homeowners, and Renters. FEMA has made individual assistance available for households in Flagler, Volusia, St. Johns, and Putnam counties. It means that individuals and households in those counties can apply for FEMA individual assistance which may include temporary housing assistance, basic home repairs, and certain other uninsured disaster-related needs. Businesses need to continue to complete the Business Damage Assessment Survey which will help determine the needs and level of assistance for the State Emergency Bridge Loan Program.

Florida Blue has teamed up with New Directions Behavioral Health to offer a 24/7 bilingual emotional support helpline at 833.848.1764 for anyone in Florida experiencing feelings of stress, anxiety, trauma, and grief due to Hurricane Ian, and are in need of emotional support. Callers may also receive referrals to other sources of mental health support and community resources to help them with emergency services such as shelter, clothing, food, and financial services.
