Public Invited to Moving Ceremony Honoring Fallen First Responders — No Climb Required to Attend

Palm Coast, FL — The 5th Annual 9/11 Memorial Tribute Climb will take place on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at the Hammock Beach Golf Resort & Spa, with more than 130 climbers already registered and over 250 spectators expected.

Held in honor of those who perished in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks particularly the first responders this event brings the community together for a powerful morning of remembrance and reflection.

Participants will climb 110 flights of stairs, symbolizing the climb New York City firefighters made inside the World Trade Center. Each climber will carry a tribute chip featuring the face of a fallen first responder, placing it on an American flag at the end of the climb as a final act of honor.

Ceremony Details:

·         Date: Thursday, September 11, 2025

·         Location: Hammock Beach Golf Resort & Spa, 200 Ocean Crest Dr., Palm Coast, FL

·         Tribute Ceremony: Begins at 8:15 AM

·         Climb Start Time: 8:46 AM, marking the time the first tower was struck

 

This is a rain or shine event. The public is warmly invited to attend the ceremony, even if they are not climbing. You do not need to climb to participate in this tribute and show your support.

·         UF Health helicopters on-site for public viewing and so much more
