Grab your bike and join us on a five-mile scenic ride through Palm Coast’s Linear and Waterfront Parks for the upcoming Tour de Palm Coast! On Saturday, July 22 cyclers of all ages and levels are invited to participate in a leisurely, non-competitive ride through Linear Park, along the St. Joes Walkway, Children’s Memorial Park, and Waterfront Park. It will be a great opportunity for families and individuals to enjoy the nature of Palm Coast in a fun and active way.
The event will start at 8 a.m. and will leave from the Palm Coast Community Center. The route will have various stops along the way to discuss the different parks, the native plants and animals in the area, and other fun facts.
“Cycling is not only a fantastic form of exercise, but also a great way to get outside and enjoy the outdoors,” said Jared Dawson, Recreation Coordinator, “Tour de Palm Coast aims to encourage residents of all ages and abilities to experience the benefits of cycling, and it’s also a great opportunity to connect with other members of the community.”
Participants will need to bring their own bicycles, and helmets are required. Water bottles are strongly encouraged, and there will be light refreshments served at the Community Center after the ride. We look forward to welcoming cyclists for a relaxing and memorable tour of some of our city’s many beautiful trails!
Pre-registration is required and can be done through the Parks and Rec website: https://tourdepalmcoastregistration
