We are pleased to announce the return of Museum Day on September 18, 2021. Museum Day is an annual celebration of boundless curiosity hosted by Smithsonian magazine. Participating museums and cultural institutions across the country provide free entry to anyone presenting a Museum Day ticket.

Smithsonian Magazine’s Museum Day
Saturday, September 18th from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm

Go to the Official Smithsonian Website and search for Florida Agricultural and Rural Museum. Download and print your Official Museum Day Ticket and check out our Agricultural Museum for free! Ticket allows ticket holder and one guest into one museum on Saturday, September 18th only. Regular admission prices charged for each additional guest. Adults $9.00, Child $7.00, Children 3 and under are always free. Ticket includes:
Touring the Strawn Citrus Plantation Authentic Buildings
· The Worker Houses
· The Bell Barn
· The Mule Barn
· The Granary
You also get to get admission into the following:
· The Historic Traxler Commissary
· The Caldwell Dairy Barn
· The Clark Family Homestead
· A tractor pulled ride around the property.
Get up close to our farm animals like:
· Rabbits
· Chickens and our Rooster named Lincoln

There will be assorted activities during the day including live performances and opportunities to meet with crafters and artisans and purchase their wares.
