FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier visited the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office today, sitting down with Sheriff Rick Staly and getting a firsthand look at the technology behind FCSO’s fight against crime.
After a private working lunch in Sheriff Staly’s office discussing issues affecting Flagler County law enforcement, Sheriff Staly gave the Attorney General a tour of our Real Time Crime Center, where he watched one of our drones respond to a call as it came in. The tour moved into the Digital Forensics Lab, where our technicians conduct forensic digital autopsies, and then to the Crime Lab, where new technology is bringing fingerprints to light that once would be impossible to locate and preserve followed by a tour of the DNA lab that is being set-up with state-of-the-art DNA equipment.
