Flagler County, FL (June 19, 2022) – The Flagler Tiger Bay Club is pleased to announce the return of the non-partisan Flagler Tiger Bay Club Election Forums featuring candidates for the general election, set for Tuesday, November 8, 2022.
The forums will feature candidates for Flagler County School Board, Palm Coast City Council and Flagler County’s Board of Commissioners. All qualifying candidates are asked to reserve their respective date with Flagler County School Board candidates set for September 28, 2022 and Palm Coast City Council and Flagler County Board of Commissioners candidates appearing on September 29, 2022.
The final roster of candidates participating will be contingent on the results of the primary election set for August 23, 2022.
As in previous cycles, representatives from various sectors of the Flagler County community including faith-based, business, and young executives will serve as panelists, presenting questions garnered from the community, to candidates during the forums.
“As Americans we are granted the right and duty to elect those who govern our lives both locally and nationally. In order to be prepared to exercise this important civic right, we should be as informed as possible on the candidates for office in the upcoming election,” said Flagler Tiger Bay Club Election Forum Chair, James Manfre.
“The Flagler Tiger Bay Club is for the third year providing a candidate forum where the public is invited to attend and participate by suggesting questions to be asked of the candidates. This event in the past has provided spirited discussions among the candidates, been well attended and covered extensively by local print and broadcast media.”
The candidate forums will be broadcast live on WNZF NewsRadio 94.9 FM and streaming worldwide on WNZF, Flagler News Weekly and Flagler Tiger Bay Club social media.
