Palm Coast, FL – The Flagler County Branch of American Association of University Women (AAUW) announces its Arts Grant for 2022. Along with a completed arts grant application, applicants must submit proof of residency and two (2) letters of reference. The application is available through the Flagler County schools and on the AAUW Flagler website flaglercounty-fl.aauw.net.  The deadline to submit all materials is March 18, 2022

Since 2016, AAUW Flagler County has awarded nine arts grants to Flagler students. The grants were developed to provide financial support for the study of the arts beyond what is available through the Flagler County Schools. Through these grants, students have been able to supplement their studies in the arts with professional instruction including workshops, camp attendance, arts internships, private classes, and similar activities. Past recipients have studied privately with professional musicians, attended music camp at Stetson University, studied ballet at Abella’s School of Dance in St. Augustine, and participated in a summer camp founded by Disney animators at Elite Animation Academy.
