Palm Coast, FL – The Flagler Tiger Bay Club is pleased to announce Florida Transportation Commissioner Rusty Roberts as the 2022 opening keynote speaker.

Specializing in transportation related policy issues at the state and federal level for nearly four decades, Roberts was appointed by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to the Florida Transportation Commission in 2021.

After serving 18 years as the Chief of Staff for House Transportation and Infrastructure Chairman Congressman John Mica, Roberts has continued to serve the public and private sectors as a lobbyist and strategic consultant focusing on transportation issues including serving as the Vice President of Government Relations for Brightline Trains, LLC.

“The recently enacted Infrastructure and Jobs Act is being called historic and transformative, but also presenting significant opportunities for state transportation programs,” said Roberts.
