Palm Coast – A portion of Royal Palms Parkway from Belle Terre Parkway to Rickenbacker Drive remains closed after a contractor reported that a storm water pipe collapsed while he was preforming maintenance on September 16th.

The City of Palm Coast is currently working on an emergency repair with contractors to get the road back open as quickly as possible and repairs are planned to begin September 27th.

“While the road is being repaired we would really appreciate the public’s cooperation in avoiding the area,” said Kevin Nelson, a Stormwater Maintenance Supervisor with the City of Palm Coast. “The roadway is not suitable for driving or foot traffic right now but we are working as quickly as we can to get it back up and running.”
