Food trucks are all the rage.

Whether it’s at a concert, a festival, a monthly Food Truck Tuesday or just nestled in a community, food trucks are delivering up delicious meals with truly unique menus.

Along the stretch of A1A just past the Hammock in Flagler County heading north, there’s been no place to stop and grab a bite to eat after the loss of the Matanzas Innlet Restaurant during Hurricane Matthew. And even with all the amenities, the Town of Marineland is in short supply of eateries.

The colorful turquoise mobile cafe overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and offers the perfect spot for travelers and locals who can appreciate a scratch kitchen with a fantastic view.

Billed as “A full service, oceanside mobile café offering fresh flavors & friendly faces. You’ll find delicious breakfast and lunch selections, specialty coffee & tea, pastries, gourmet gourmet popsicles & ice cream, and treats for everyone. Visit us on Scenic A1A,” it’s truly worth a trip.

My first stop at Ragga was about 2 PM on a week day, and the people in front of me nabbed the last chicken salad sandwich to my great disappointment. Checking out the rest of the menu, a grilled cheese with bacon turned out to be a winner, and paired with an ice cold Coca Cola out of their old fashioned cooler, I wished I’d stopped in sooner.

While staffing the recent International Coastal Cleanup in Marineland last weekend, I took a chance and landed my coveted classic chicken salad sandwich on croissant and it was delicious. Fresh ingredients, great flavor and a soft croissant was the perfect brunch, paired with a blueberry lemonade.

The menu offers up a number of really fun breakfast and lunch items including vegan and gluten free, and a range of drinks featuring Ragga Bean Coffee Company‘s cold brews, teas and refreshers, along with Hyppo Popsicles.

One thing’s for sure, it’s top of the line for taste at the Ragga Surf Cafe.

Stop over and check ’em out, just south of the Marineland Dolphin Adventure on A1A.
