Bunnell, FL – Following last year’s outstanding success in the Flagler School community, the Flagler County Education Foundation has officially announced the first round of winners of the 2026–2027 FCEF G.R.I.T. Grant program. The initiative provides dedicated funding to help educators acknowledge and celebrate students who embody essential character traits in and out of the classroom.
The FCEF G.R.I.T. Grant funding supports student recognition programs built upon four fundamental pillars:
● Growth: Emphasizes the importance of learning from mistakes and constantly improving.
● Resilience: Demonstrates an ability to bounce back from setbacks, adapt to change, and persevere.
● Integrity: Focuses on being honest, ethical, and maintaining strong moral principles.
● Tenacity: Displays a strong determination and unwillingness to give up, even when faced with obstacles.
“We had such great success last year throughout our Flagler School community,” said Teresa Rizzo, Executive Director of the Education Foundation. “We know that your students deserve to be acknowledged and celebrated, and the FCEF G.R.I.T. Grant funding is designed specifically to help our educators achieve this initiative.”
