DAYTONA BEACH, FLA. (September 3, 2026) – Daytona State College has been recognized in Research.com’s 2027 rankings of the Best Online Bachelor’s in Information Technology Degree Programs in the United States.
Research.com evaluates colleges and universities using a range of factors, including academic quality, teaching, faculty, facilities and student experience. Daytona State’s Information Technology bachelor’s program is also ABET accredited, which is viewed as the gold-standard in the industry.
ABET accreditation provides assurance that a college or university program meets the quality standards of the profession for which that program prepares graduates. Graduation from an ABET accredited institution is the first step for professional engineering licensure in the state of Florida. Professional engineering licensure is the top standard for the profession.

Research.com cited Daytona State for its achievements in Information Technology education and its commitment to academic quality and student satisfaction. The organization said its rankings are based on an analysis of numerous institutional metrics conducted by its team of data scientists.
Daytona State also received recognition in several additional Research.com rankings, including the 2027 Best Online Bachelor’s in Information Technology Degree Programs in Florida, 2027 Best Online Information Technology Degree Programs in Florida, 2027 Most Affordable Education Degree Programs in Daytona Beach and 2027 Most Affordable Accounting Degree Programs in Daytona Beach.
