Florida is famous for many things, but nothing captures the heart quite like one of our unforgettable sunsets. Now’s your chance to share that magic with the entire state!
The Florida Association of Counties (FAC) is officially accepting entries for its 2027 Calendar Photo Contest, and this year’s theme is Florida’s Spectacular Sunsets.
Whether you’re a professional photographer, an enthusiastic hobbyist, or someone who simply loves snapping the perfect golden-hour moment with your camera, FAC wants to see Florida through your lens. From brilliant beach sunsets along the Atlantic and Gulf coasts to colorful skies over farms, rivers, forests, and hometown neighborhoods, every corner of the Sunshine State has a story to tell.
Photographers of all skill levels are encouraged to participate, with submissions welcomed from all 67 Florida counties. Every sunset is unique—and yours could become one of the featured images enjoyed by thousands throughout 2027.
Before you submit, keep these requirements in mind:

Deadline: August 21, 2026

Photo size: Minimum 2,500 pixels at 300 dpi

Photos must be free of logos, names, timestamps, or watermarks.

Be sure to include the photographer’s name in the photo credit field if you’re submitting on someone else’s behalf.
