Palm Coast – FCC Environmental Services Inc. will begin providing trash and recycling services to the City of Palm Coast on June 1, 2023. In July of 2022, the Palm Coast City Council approved a resolution for a seven-year residential solid waste agreement with FCC Environmental Services Inc. The current contract with Waste Pro expires on May 31, 2023.

Residents should expect a mailer to reach their mailbox in late May from FCC with more information about services, pickup dates, and more. Services will continue to occur twice per week for trash, and once per week for bulk, yard waste, and recycling, with most pickup days remaining the same. The residential rate is $32.32 per month and will go into effect on June 1, 2023.

In addition to maintaining the level of service Palm Coast residents expect, FCC will also provide more pick-up routes, fewer residential addresses per route, enhanced software and technology capabilities, and a comprehensive implementation plan.

The City of Palm Coast has launched a webpage to answer frequently asked questions. This page will be updated as needed throughout the implementation process and can be viewed at: https://www.palmcoast.gov/public-works/garbage/new-residential-collection-by-fcc
