The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will be partnering with the Anastasia Baptist Church at 1650 A1A South in St. Augustine’s to holding for the deaf and hard of hearing community on Saturday, January 7 from 12pm – 5pm. 

On site will be several different FEMA Programs available to help survivors register, give more information about what disaster assistance might be available and to provide updates on the status of your application if you have already registered.

The deadline is January 12, 2023.

In addition to this special event, Disaster Recovery Centers Accessible to People with Disabilities and those with access and functional needs.

  • The centers have assistive technology equipment that allows survivors to interact with staff.
  • Video Remote interpreting is available and in-person sign language available by request.
  • Real-time captioning as well as information in Braille, large-print, audio and electronic versions are available.
  • The centers also have accessible parking, ramps and restrooms.
