Palm Coast – In August 2022, the City of Palm Coast issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a food and beverage concession provider at the Palm Harbor Golf Club, which is owned and operated by the City of Palm Coast. Two completed proposals were received and an internal evaluation team reviewed and scored each proposal on specific criteria. The unanimous choice was Loopers.

The agreement with the current food and beverage provider will terminate on January 15, 2023, to allow for the transition. The Green Lion Café’ will close on the afternoon of January 14, 2023. The new concession lease agreement will commence on January 16, 2023, during which time the City of Palm Coast will perform routine maintenance on the building. Additionally, the new tenants intend to invest in the building further by constructing a bar area and a larger kitchen at the expense of Loopers.

Beginning January 15 and continuing through the construction period, food trucks will be on-site at the golf course to provide food services to patrons. Ramon Personal Chef Food Truck and Cajun Cravins’ 2 Go will rotate every four days. The food trucks will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., serving grab-and-go handheld offerings. Loopers will provide alcohol service utilizing a portion of the current restaurant. Loopers is expected to open for limited food and drink services as soon as practical while construction is in progress.

The full-service restaurant for patrons is expected to open on or around March 1, 2023. The restaurant will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily and will offer an assortment of breakfast sandwiches and classic breakfast dishes in the morning. Lunch will feature sandwich specials that will change daily. Dinner will feature weekly specials of fresh fish, prime rib, and barbeque options. A full bar will provide specialty drinks, craft beer, and assorted wines. Grab-and-go options will be available for golfers for breakfast and lunch.

The Concession Lease Agreement is for five years with three (3) 5-year extensions available. The rent starts at $17,982 annually, which is equivalent to $9.00 per square foot, and increases by 3% annually. The tenant is solely responsible for electricity, propane, phone, and internet. Water and sewer utilities are split 50/50 between the tenant and the City, as the building is shared between the restaurant and the golf club’s pro shop.

Palm Harbor Golf Club is a public course open seven days a week. The golf club features a full-service practice facility with a driving range, putting green, and chipping green. The pro shop, which carries both men’s and women’s name-brand apparel and equipment, is a shared space with the food and beverage concession provider.
