Flagler County Land Management is launching a new limited (limited in the number of participants and frequency) guided tour series called a “A Walk in the Park” – this particular event adds “in the Woods.”

This inaugural tour will take place at 10 a.m. November 22 at Princess Place Preserve and is limited to eight (8) registrants. The exact meeting location will be released to those who register to take the two-hour walking tour.

“We are limiting the participation, because we are covering challenging territory and we want to be able to experience the serenity the preserve has to offer,” said Public Lands and Natural Resource Manager Michael Lagasse.

Those who are participating should:

  • Expect a two-hour hike over uneven ground
  • Wear closed-toe shoes
  • Bring water, sunscreen, and insect repellent

Additional recommendations include:

  • Bring a hat and raincoat
  • Bring a trail snack

If bad weather is forecast, the guided tour will be cancelled up to 9 a.m. November 22. Registration is currently open at this link. All participants are required to sign a hold harmless waiver.
