Flagler County, FL – This week may be National Arts in Education Week, but every week is about arts in education at the Flagler Auditorium.
As a former arts educator, Amelia Fulmer, director of the Dennis Fitzgerald Performing Arts Center, better known locally as the Flagler Auditorium, puts a premium on supporting programs, and finding creative ways to keep the students engaged and top of mind for her patrons.
Generating revenue for the performing arts center helps support grants and scholarships for arts students and their teachers in Flagler County’s schools, so packing the house is a priority equal to providing the highest quality entertainment for lovers of the arts.

Who doesn’t love to save money?
Ready to open a full season of entertainment, patrons of the arts are getting an early start on planning their preferred shows and seating at the Flagler Auditorium and by doing so are scoring a sweet deal with their subscriptions.
“The subscription was designed not only for our super show fans but also for our biggest supporters,” said Fulmer. “The subscription is only $1,300 but it is a $2,040 value.”
For patrons who may not be able to commit to every show of the season, there’s an answer for you too.
“Some subscribers can’t make every show so they give some of their show tickets away to charities for auctions or they give them to friends and newcomers. Even if they are not physically at the show, they are supporting all we do from international touring shows to arts education.”
Perks include some very attractive benefits.
“Being able to have your favorite seat for every show,” is a huge perk according to Fulmer.
“Knowing that you support the Flagler Auditorium all year and saving money at the same time seeing friends in the hospitality room, and getting free tickets and invitations to school events like the musicals,” is another added benefits to being a season ticketholder.
Season subscriber Charles Yohe agrees.
“It’s great entertainment right here in Palm Coast and it ultimately helps support arts in the school. What’s not to like about that? If we can help to get more people to support the Flagler Auditorium’s fine efforts, we’re more than happy to do so,” said Yohe.
Who’s On the 2022-23 Showbill?
While the season officially begins with The Jersey Tenors on November 18th, the community can enjoy a sneak preview of the season during the high voltage “Pat & Pink: A Salute to Women” show on October 15th. A portion of the evening’s proceeds benefit the Pink On Parade efforts by the AdventHealth Palm Coast Foundation to provide breast cancer screenings and diagnostic services to Flagler County patients in need.
From the unforgettable holiday shows featuring performances by The Celtic Angels and Steve Solomon’s ‘Home for the Holidays’ to the roof-raising ‘One Night of Queen’, patrons will find an eclectic mix of shows this fall to capture their imagination at Flagler County’s premier performing arts center.
“We are so lucky to have the Flagler Auditorium as a performing arts center in our community providing a wide variety of world-class entertainment while also giving a unique opportunity for students to be exposed to and trained on the latest technology,” said Flagler Auditorium Governing Board member Debby Meyer, in support of the facility’s multi-faceted programming and mission.
“Many graduates from Flagler county who work in the entertainment industry began their careers here either on the stage, or behind the scenes. The Auditorium is dedicated to supporting arts in education, and the Governing Board provides scholarships each year to graduates.”
