PALM COAST, FL—C&C Coastal Home Watch has earned accreditation from the National Home Watch Association. The NHWA was formed in 2009 in order to establish and maintain the highest industry standards for Home Watch and absentee homeowner services throughout the United States and Canada (www.nationalhomewatchassociation.org). Home Watch is a visual inspection of a home or property, looking for obvious issues, which means that it is a service that “keeps an eye on things” at your vacation or primary home while you are not in residence.

After college and two tours in the U.S. Navy during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm, Chris Gabriel started his real estate career. Originally licensed in Michigan in 1994, he actively sold until 2011 but decided to take a break from real estate and was hired as the Director of Business Development for a large landscaping company. It was there that he gained the knowledge of the landscape and property maintenance industry. Chris still oversees properties in Michigan and Northern Indiana, consulting for various projects.

In 2020, finding themselves empty nesters, Chris and his wife and partner, Corinne, decided to move back to Northern Florida, where he’d been stationed in the Navy. He renewed his real estate license in Michigan and acquired his Florida license. With all the out-of-state homeowners that own homes on their beautiful coast, it became evident that professional Home Watch services were needed.

Corinne’s career began developing in 2005, with creating a landscape business, which then evolved into developing divisions of that company; one of those was the beginning of a Home Watch business. Growing up in the Midwest near Lake Michigan, the properties and homeowners she worked with were often second homeowners. Home Watch evolved for Corinne’s existing clients over the years, as she found the services needed not offered by the average lawn-care company. In 2013, Corinne created her first official Home Watch service agreement, and her first client is still a client to this day.

In 2018, Chris and Corinne got married. When their lives came together, so did their careers. In 2020, they moved to Northern Florida, where they began what they like to call a “working retirement.” Chris and Corinne are committed to taking care of their clients’ homes as if they were their own. They look forward to helping their clients put their minds at ease by joining their Home Watch family. Chris and Corinne’s years of experience in the real estate, Home Watch, and property maintenance fields make their clients feel at ease as well.
