Are you a new resident of Florida or just want to learn how to best take advantage of our unique climate and ecosystems? Join us for Florida 101!

This four-week course covers topics including Florida weather and ecosystems, identification of interesting native wildlife and potential pests, Florida agriculture, which kinds of plants will grow best in your Florida yard, and how to be a Florida-friendly resident. The course primarily meets at the UF/IFAS Extension Flagler County Office in Bunnell also includes an ecology walk and tour of the historic lodge at Princess Place Preserve.

This course will meet four consecutive Tuesday mornings: September 9, 16, 23, and 30th from 9am-12pm
