DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Aug. 22, 2025) – Danny Wimmer Presents (DWP), one of the world’s premier independent live event producers, and Daytona International Speedway (DIS), the world-renowned motorsports facility, are pleased to announce a new landmark 10-year agreement securing Welcome To Rockville at “The World Center of Racing” in Daytona Beach through 2035.

The 2026 edition of Welcome To Rockville is set for May 7-10, with lineup announcements coming this fall.

Originally launched in Jacksonville, Florida, Welcome To Rockville found its permanent home at Daytona International Speedway in 2021. Since then, the festival has grown into North America’s Largest Rock & Metal Festival, welcoming record-breaking crowds and cementing itself as a flagship event on the global festival calendar. The 2025 edition drew more than 230,000 fans from all 50 states and 30 countries internationally, bringing a worldwide audience to Daytona Beach and Volusia County. Each year, Rockville generates over $80 million annually in economic impact through tourism, hospitality, and local business engagement—making it not only a cultural powerhouse but also a major driver of regional growth.

Welcome To Rockville generates a powerful ripple effect across the region – filling tens of thousands of hotel room nights, supporting restaurants, bars and local attractions, and creating seasonal employment opportunities for hundreds of workers.

As part of this long-term commitment, Rockville organizers are making a charitable gift of $10,000 to AdventHealth. This donation ensures that the excitement Rockville brings to Daytona Beach will also leave a lasting mark on local families, strengthening care locally and rippling far beyond the festival grounds.

DWP is expanding its partnership with NASCAR as part of this new agreement. This includes a Welcome To Rockville activation space at the Coke Zero 400 Race on August 23 featuring Rockville wrapping, photo ops and exclusive VIP sweepstakes. As well, sponsor positioning for Welcome To Rockville will appear on the No. 77 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet ZL1’s driven by Carson Hocevar during multiple races throughout the remainder of the 2025 season. Carson Hocevar is an official brand ambassador for Welcome To Rockville, and will be featured in both digital content and promotional campaigns.

Welcome To Rockville has always been about more than just a festival, it’s about creating a destination fans look forward to every year,” said Danny Wimmer, Founder of Danny Wimmer Presents. “Partnering with Daytona International Speedway gives us the space, the resources, and the platform to dream even bigger. We’re building something fans, artists, and the community can be proud of for years to come.”

“To put it quite simply, it is a no-brainer for Daytona International Speedway to continue the partnership with Danny Wimmer Presents and Welcome To Rockville for the next decade,” said Daytona International Speedway Track President Frank Kelleher. “Each year, Danny and his team put on an incredible festival that draws hundreds of thousands of rock music fans to the Daytona Beach area from around the globe. This past May, over 150 bands rocked out on five stages – and the fans loved every note.”

“When a festival of this scale invests back into the community, it’s about more than music — it’s about impact,” said David Weis, regional president and CEO for AdventHealth‘s operations in east Volusia, Flagler and St. Johns counties. “Just as Rockville unites fans from around the world, this gift helps unite us in building a healthier future right here in Daytona Beach.”

“We are absolutely thrilled with Danny Wimmer Presents’ 10-year commitment to hosting Welcome To Rockville right here in Daytona Beach at the iconic Daytona International Speedway,” added Lori Campbell Baker, Executive Director of the Daytona Beach Area Convention & Visitors Bureau. “This premier event has been an incredible asset to our destination, delivering substantial economic impact, with festivalgoers staying in hotels, dining at restaurants, and exploring all the attractions our area has to offer. Welcome to Rockville shines a global spotlight on Daytona Beach and draws thousands of visitors from around the world each year, and we look forward to what the future holds for this world-renowned event.”

Welcome To Rockville is produced by Danny Wimmer Presents, one of the largest independent producers of destination music festivals in America.
