Flagler County, FL — Flagler County Tax Collector Shelly Edmonson is pleased to announce that Florida’s new America’s 250th Anniversary license plate is now available to residents of Flagler County.
The commemorative plate, created by the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, honors the upcoming Semiquincentennial of the United States—the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 2026. The plate offers motorists a patriotic alternative to the standard Florida license plate while recognizing a historic milestone in our nation’s history.
The America’s 250th Anniversary license plate is available during vehicle registration, renewal, or as a re-placement plate at all Flagler County Tax Collector offices. Regular registration and license plate fees apply. Additional fees may apply for replacement plates.
“This commemorative plate provides a simple and meaningful way for residents to show their pride in our country while recognizing an important moment in American history,” said Shelly Edmonson, Flagler County Tax Collector.
