FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – With less than two weeks remaining until the 2026 Daytona 500, students in Flagler County got a thrilling preview of racing excitement and career inspiration as the AdventHealth No. 43 NASCAR show car made special stops at Matanzas High School and Flagler Palm Coast High School on Tuesday.

In partnership with AdventHealth Palm Coast and AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway, the iconic car driven by Erik Jones was showcased on both campuses, giving students a unique opportunity to see a professional race car up close while learning about careers connected to NASCAR and health care.

At Flagler Palm Coast High School, Classroom to Careers students explored career pathways with AdventHealth representatives and even enjoyed a photo opportunity with their Bulldog mascot.

The Flagler County Education Foundation representatives shared, “What a fun afternoon at Flagler Palm Coast High School! The AdventHealth No. 43 car made a special stop to the Bulldog campus, and our Classroom to Careers students had the chance to get up close, learn more about the car, and explore career opportunities with AdventHealth.”

Earlier in the day at Matanzas High School, students welcomed the show car with high energy and school pride. The Pirate Steel Drum Band provided lively entertainment, while the Blue Steel Band and MHS Army JROTC were recognized for their upcoming performances at this year’s Daytona 500.
